Bobby Lange is a seasoned investor with over a decade of finance experience. He co-founded HGS Partners in 2024 to focus on partnering with high-quality services companies and driven entrepreneurs.

Bobby grew up in Los Angeles and attended UCLA, where he competed on the varsity golf team and earned his undergraduate degree in Business-Economics (magna cum laude).

Bobby started his career in New York as an investment banking analyst at Credit Suisse in their Mergers & Acquisitions group. He then transitioned to private equity, joining Court Square Capital Partners as an associate on their Technology team. Bobby then returned to his hometown and joined Ares Management, where he served as a Vice President in their private equity group, investing across industries with flexible transactions structures (e.g., buyout, minority, growth equity, etc.).

Most recently, Bobby served as a Principal at LightBay Capital, where he invested in high-growth services companies and was responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence, execution, and portfolio value creation. He also served on the Board of Directors of Awayday, a national vacation property manager.

Outside of work, Bobby enjoys staying active and spending quality time with his family.
